August 31 - Court of Honor. BDSR "rocker" patches
will be purchased. Patches are available for all 5 camps located

the CLP patch. The PLC may want to
plan day trips to the other 3 camps in order to receive all 5.
All merit badges earned at Camp will be awarded at this Court
of Honor. Norm has gone over requirements for incomplete merit
badges with each scout. Boards of Review need to be scheduled
for those boys advancing in rank.
September 10 - 12 - Family campout. Greg I. will look into
the availability of Hermit Park.
September 10-12 - OA Fellowship weekend
October 1-3 - Fall Camporee - no location as of yet - Chimney Peak a possibility
October 16-17 - Webelos campout ( free camping at Boyd? Terry is looking into this).
Old Business:
1. A check for camping items still needs to be given to Les B.'s troop.
2. Jim and others will build a prototype patrol box Sunday July 25 for review by Scouts at the next meeting. A cost estimate will be given at that time.
3. Terry will arrange for the Troop to use the Community Booth at the Mall to sell popcorn. Sign-up sheets will be available at each Troop meeting. 6 boys per day (weekends) will be necessary.
New Business:
1. Norm has made reservations for both Troop and Committee
meetings for the upcoming school year. He would like someone else
on the school use permit in case he's unable to attend. Cindy
S. is on the Pack's permit already,
so she was volunteered to do this for the Troop.
2. Loren D. will be the chairperson for next year's summer camp. A different site is being contemplated; Norm will provide the PLC with information on different Front Range BSA camps.
3. Colleen M. will put together a picture presentation for the next (8/31) Court of Honor.
The next committee meeting will be held at Terry's on August
5, 1999 at 7:00 p.m.
