Hello Kayakers,
I finally received information from the sea kayak outfitters. So, attached you will find a number of documents.
Rations Class.pdf - this shows how they will plan food/meals based on the NOLS meal planning. This is what we will get for our $50. I think this concept will be a good learning experience for the scouts on how to plan and cook some good meals.
BSA Med Form.pdf - We will need current medical forms. I think most everyone should have this current already. If not you will need to get one completed. I would like to have a copy of these by May 15.
Steve Urlocker Colorado BSA Itinerary.pdf - this details the route and campsites we will be staying at. Also, check out this link that I found. It has good info on these campsites and now I can't wait to go. We staying at the following points 34/37 and 22 (spencer spit is not listed).

The remaining pdf's are more information on the campgrounds.
The following link contains information on the ferry schedule and fares.
http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/
In order to get from the peninsula to
1) take the Port Townsend / Keystone Ferry (30 minutes)
2) drive to Anacortes - (35 miles, 1hour)
Allow time for
a quick stop at
3) take the Anacortes / San Juan Ferry to Lopez Is.
I need to decipher the ferry schedule to get times for this leg.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Regards,
Steve
